Promoters buying in the open market
The promoter group bought more than ₹1 crore net on the exchange in the last 90 days, in a stock above its 200-day average.
The quarterly shareholding pattern says a promoter's stake went up. It does not say how, and a preferential allotment at a discount reads the same as buying on the screen. This scan reads the trade disclosures instead, which promoters file within days, and counts only market purchases less market sales. A crore of net buying is a deliberate amount of money, and the trend filter keeps the list to stocks the market already agrees with. Each purchase counts from the day NSE broadcast it, never the trade date, so a replay of this scan never acts on a disclosure before it was public.
