The practical effect is not elegance — it is that you can still read your own scan six months later, and that conditions about time and persistence become one line instead of an engineering project.

Data depth decides the tiebreaks

Thirty years of split-adjusted daily history means a 200-day average near the start of the dataset is as trustworthy as one computed yesterday, and backtests can reach across regimes. Delivery percentage — the NSE's ownership-transfer figure — is a first-class scannable field here rather than a display column, and the same is true of futures open interest, put-call ratios, and point-in-time P/E and promoter holding. "Price up with OI up, on heavy delivery, in a stock promoters actually hold" is one query here, and it backtests.
