# Longest streaks above the 21 EMA — NSE scan

> Twenty or more consecutive closes above the 21-day EMA, longest streak first.

Canonical: https://patternsradar.com/screener/longest-streaks-above-21-ema

```sift
where countstreak(close > ema(21), 60) >= 20
  and rsi(14) < 75
sort by countstreak(close > ema(21), 60) desc
```

A streak is a different measurement from a count. It asks how many sessions in a row, counting back from today, the stock has closed above its 21-day EMA, and it stops at the first one that did not. Twenty is a month without a single close under the line. Sorting by the streak itself puts the most relentless trends at the top of the list, and the RSI ceiling of 75 trims the handful that are already vertical. Sixty bars is the longest streak the scan can see, so a value of sixty means at least that.
