# Doji cluster — NSE scan

> Three or more dojis inside the last ten sessions, in a stock above its 200-day average. An uptrend that has stopped deciding.

Canonical: https://patternsradar.com/screener/doji-cluster

```sift
where count(pattern is doji, 10) >= 3
  and close > sma(200)
```

One doji is a session of indecision. Three in ten, in a stock above its 200-day, is a trend that has stalled for a fortnight, with buyers and sellers agreeing on the price and disagreeing about what comes next. Counting the pattern instead of asking for one today finds the stall while it is still unresolved, which is the only time it is useful. By the time the resolution bar prints, the doji scan has already moved on. The 200-day filter chooses which way that resolution is more likely to go.
